Private data and executable environments for advanced AI
Useful data. Proven by execution.
We create rights-clean AI evaluation environments and help established companies assess whether their operating history can be licensed for AI development.
Two sides of one market: reliable supply for AI teams, and a careful route to market for businesses that control hard-to-recreate data.

01 / What we do
We build data products and source qualified private supply.
Douglas Data Labs works with both sides of the market. AI teams need dependable training and evaluation material. Businesses need a controlled way to understand whether their records may have value.
For AI teams
Evaluation tasks, environments and training data
We develop compact, inspectable data products for model training and evaluation. Our current work focuses on executable engineering tasks with deterministic checks and reference trajectories.
Years of work can leave useful traces in project systems, support tools, finance platforms, documents and internal workflows. We assess the opportunity before introducing it to selected licensing providers.
What licensed data is publicly listed or reported for.
There is no universal price list. These are market examples—not Douglas Data Labs valuations, guarantees or offers. Marketplace figures are asking prices; reported deals are not directly comparable to a private business dataset.
Large image archive
2–4¢ per image
Freepik told Reuters it licensed most of its 200-million-image archive to two large technology companies at this per-image rate.
Stock-media libraries
$25M–$50M each
Shutterstock’s CFO told Reuters that its initial licensing agreements with large technology firms fell within this range and were later expanded.
Platform content
About $60M/year
Reuters reported that Reddit’s agreement to make its content available to Google for AI training was worth about $60 million per year.
Publicly reported reference points reviewed 13 October 2026. Sources: Reuters reporting on Shutterstock and Freepik and Reuters reporting on Reddit and Google. These large-company agreements are not valuations for an individual business dataset. Price depends on rights, geography, volume, freshness, quality, exclusivity, delivery, buyer demand and permitted uses. Actual transactions can be lower—or never close.
03 / Process
A clear route from first review to a real decision.
01
Describe
Tell us what exists at a high level. Do not upload confidential files, credentials or actual records.
02
Qualify
We review ownership, operating history, systems, approximate scale and the likely usefulness of the data.
03
Approve
If there may be a fit, we explain possible providers and ask for permission before making an introduction.
04
Evaluate
The provider performs due diligence and may make an offer. You remain free to accept, negotiate or decline.
For AI labs and model teams
Tell us what capability you need to measure.
We can share a controlled overview of our current executable evaluation tasks or discuss a custom pack. We do not publish hidden graders, reference solutions or private source packages on this website.
Questions
Before you submit
Does this assessment mean my data has a buyer?
No. It is an initial qualification only. There is no guaranteed buyer, valuation, offer or payment.
Do you need access to our systems now?
No. Do not upload or send records through this website. Any later review requires separate scope, permission and written terms.
Will you send our details to several providers?
Not automatically. We first review the opportunity, explain any proposed provider, and obtain further approval before an introduction.
Does the business keep ownership?
An assessment does not transfer ownership. Any eventual licence, sale, access right or processing arrangement is governed by separate written terms with the chosen provider.
How does Douglas Data Labs get paid?
We may receive a referral or transaction fee if an introduced opportunity closes. We disclose that relationship before an introduction. This website does not promise a specific fee or transaction.
